What they are
A set of cards with affirmations: short, calm sentences about relaxation, space and staying in charge. They come from the course, where we use them together. Many couples want to keep them at home afterwards, so you can order them separately.
How you use them
During your pregnancy you can draw a card each day, or pick a few that speak to you. Put them where you often look: on the mirror, next to your bed, on the fridge. The more often a sentence passes by, the more familiar it becomes.
During the birth, the cards are mostly there for your partner. They can read one out loud, or put a few where you are. You do not have to do anything yourself. You hear them, and that is enough.
Two sets
The cards come in a Dutch and an English set. The same calm design, the same set-up. Useful if your partner speaks English, or if you are giving them as a gift.
