A mother's blessing — also known as a blessingway or mother's blessing — is an intimate gathering of women around the expectant mother. In a small, safe circle, her loved ones take the time to honor her, support her, and surround her with love for the major transition that is coming.

Where a baby shower revolves around the child, a mother's blessing revolves around the mother. Around her strength, her fears, her desires, and her transformation. It is a moment to truly reflect on what is about to happen — together, in the presence of the people who matter most.

Practical

How do you organize a mother's blessing?

You organize a mother's blessing together with the expectant mother and Sabrina. Together, you determine the location, the guests (usually 4 to 10 women close to the mother), the duration, and the elements that suit her wishes and personality.

The gathering lasts an average of 2 to 3 hours and can take place at someone's home, in a garden, or at another meaningful location. Sabrina provides the guidance, materials, and structure of the ceremony.
